당선 소감

1. 당선 소감
이번 레모네이션에 당선된 소감이 어떠신가요?
레모네이션을 통해 좋은 작품에 참여하는 소중한 기회를 얻게되어 좋았습니다!

2. 당선 음악 작업 과정
레모네이션 음악을 작업하면서, 가장 신경 쓴 부분이 있다면 어떤 부분이었나요?
에니메이션인 만큼, 영상에서 얻을 수 있는 것들에 가장 신경을 많이 썼던 것 같습니다. 캐릭터의 특징부터 먼저 살펴보았던 것 같고, 캐릭터의 움직임이나 감정선에 맞추어 음악이 영상에 맞을 수 있게 작업했던 것 같아요.

3. 레몬사운드와의 작업 과정
레모네이션 당선 후 최종 완성까지 레몬사운드와 함께했을 때 가장 인상깊었던 순간이 있다면 어떤 점일까요?
일정 조율이나 피드백을 전달할 때 수월했던 것 같습니다!

음악 세계

1. 음악 시작 계기
아티스트님이 음악을 시작한 계기는 무엇인가요? 음악을 계속해야겠다고 결심한 계기가 있다면 궁금합니다.
처음에는 아이돌 노래를 들으면서 작곡을 시작했던 것 같아요! 이후에는 여러 음악들을 접하면서 다양한 감정들을 제 음악에 녹여내보고 싶었고, 영상음악이 제 의도와 맞아 지금까지 음악을 하고 있는 것 같습니다

2. 작곡 과정
음악을 작곡할 때 어디에서 영감을 받아 어떻게 작업을 시작하시나요? (그림을 그리거나 긴 산책을 하는 등)
저는 주로 공연이나 전시장을 가면 영감을 많이 얻는 것 같습니다!

3. 음악 스타일
음악을 작곡할 때 아티스트님만의 음악적 스타일이 있다면 어떤 것인가요?
음악에 의도가 보이게 작업하다보니 조금은 과감하게 작업하는 것 같아요.

4. 좋아하는 작품
아티스트님의 작품 세계에 특히 영향을 준 예술작품 (영화, 음악, 애니메이션, 그림 등) 이나 작가가 있다면 어떤 것일까요? 음악이 아닌 다른 것이 영감을 주는 경우가 있나요?
좋아하는 작품은 정하기가 어려운 것 같아요! 워낙 좋은 작품이 많아서..

5. 인상 깊었던 순간
지난 음악 인생을 되돌아봤을 때, 지금 가장 기억에 남는 순간이 있다면 어떤 순간일까요?
뭐든 열심히 해야겠다는 다짐을 한 순간이 기억에 남아요! 그래서 더 음악에 집중할 수 있게 된 것 같습니다.

6. 음악가로서의 삶
음악가로서 살아갈 때 가장 어려운 부분은 무엇이라고 생각하시나요?
내가 이 일을 정말 좋아하는지 객관적으로 고민하고 나아가는게 어려운 것 같아요

7. 앞으로의 목표
음악가로서 앞으로의 목표가 있다면 어떤 것인가요?
여러 작품들에 참여하면서 저만의 색깔을 찾고 싶습니다!

함께 음악 인생을 살아가고 있는 동료 음악가들에게 하고 싶은 말이 있다면 말해 주세요.
음악 하면서 많이 고민하고 힘들겠지만 음악을 좋아하는 마음으로 끝까지 나아갔으면 좋겠습니다!

Could you introduce yourself briefly?
Hello, I’m Yoonsoo Kim, the composer for "Golden Memories" in Lemonation!

1. How do you feel about winning?
What were your thoughts upon being selected as a winner in this Lemonation?
I’m grateful to have the valuable opportunity to contribute to such a wonderful project through Lemonation.

2. Creative Process
What was the main aspect you focused on while creating your Lemonation piece?
Since this was an animation project, I focused heavily on elements that could enhance the visuals. I started by examining the characters’ traits and then worked to match the music with their movements and emotional arcs to harmonize with the video.

3. Working with Lemon Sound
Was there a memorable moment during the working process with Lemon Sound?
Coordinating schedules and sharing feedback went smoothly.

Artistic Vision

1. Starting in Music
What first inspired you to start in music, and was there a moment when you knew you wanted to pursue it professionally?
I first began composing by listening to idol songs! Later, as I explored more music, I wanted to incorporate a range of emotions into my own compositions. That journey naturally led me to film music, which aligns well with my vision, and I’ve been creating music ever since.

2. Composition Process
When you compose, where do you typically find inspiration, and how do you begin the process? (For example, sketching ideas or taking long walks.)
I am often inspired by other performances or art exhibitions!

3. Musical Style
Do you have a distinct musical style that you identify as your own?
When I compose, I try to make the intention behind the music clear, which sometimes leads me to work a bit boldly.

4. Favorite Influences
Are there any specific works of art - movies, music, animation, paintings, etc. - or creators that have particularly influenced your artistic vision? Are there any non-musical sources that inspire you?
It’s difficult to pick a single favorite work! There are just so many incredible pieces.

5. Unforgettable Moments
Reflecting on your musical journey, is there a particular moment that stands out as especially memorable?
I clearly remember a moment when I resolved to give my all in everything I do. It helped me focus more on my music.

6. Challenges as a Musician
What do you find most challenging about being a musician?
One of the challenges I face is objectively reflecting on whether I truly love this work and progressing forward.

7. Future Goals
What are your goals moving forward in your music career?
Through participating in various projects, I hope to discover and define my own unique style!

8. Message to Fellow Composers
Is there anything you would like to share with fellow musicians on a similar journey?
There will be times of struggle and hardship in music, but I hope to continue with a love for music until the very end.
